Secure Wireless Communication in RIS-Aided MISO System With Hardware Impairments

In practice, residual transceiver hardware impairments inevitably lead to distortion noise which causes the performance loss. this letter, we study robust transmission design for a reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS)-aided secure communication system in presence of impairments. We aim maximizing secrecy rate while ensuring transmit power constraint on active beamforming at base station and unit-modulus passive RIS. To address problem, adopt alternate optimization method iteratively optimize one set variables keeping other fixed. Specifically, successive convex approximation (SCA) is used solve subproblem, obtained by using semidefinite program (SDP) method.
